The Center for Bioinformatics Research (CBR) brings together researchers from across Indiana University studying computational biology and bioinformatics. Housed in the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering, faculty and students carry out research in evolution and comparative genomics, genome privacy, mass spectrometry proteomics, metagenomics, precision medicine, predictive functional genomics, and structural bioinformatics. The center was founded in 2009.
The center faculties are involved in three Ph.D. programs and two Masters programs related to bioinformatics and computational biology. Check out the academic programs, and involved faculty members for details.
