The Center for Bioinformatics Research brings together researchers from across Indiana University studying computational biology and bioinformatics. Housed in the School of Informatics and Computing, faculty and students carry out research in evolution and comparative genomics, genome privacy, mass spectrometry proteomics, metagenomics, precision medicine, predictive functional genomics, and structural bioinformatics. The center was founded in 2009.

We are part of the Indiana University Precision Health Initiative. See project announcement.
